Horse Motel

We offer overnight accommodations for travelers with horses in our dedicated and renovated guest barn (ten 12x12 stalls with rubber mat flooring. Each stall comes equipped with feed and water buckets, and a mounted fan to keep your horses comfortable in warm weather). Each stall is sprayed with disinfectant after each departure. We also have large (65' by 180') tree-shaded paddock areas, with water, adjacent to the guest barn that can accommodate several horses each.  For the barn stalls, the Ranch provides good quality bedding material as needed, and the individual horse owners are required to clean their stalls daily, and just before their departure (no cleaning necessary when the paddock areas are used).

Adjacent to the guest barn are three RV sites with water/electric (two with 30/50 amp service; one with 30 amp only). The ranch facilities are accessed down a well-marked and well-maintained private gravel road. This places the guest barn and RV spots more than a half mile from the nearest public blacktop road, which makes the Flying B Ranch a very quiet overnight stop for travelers looking to get some needed rest. The ranch is easily accessible for even the biggest truck/trailer/RV rigs - see our news bulletin about the Budweiser Clydesdales and the Wells Fargo Stagecoach Team!

RATES HORSE STALL RV PARKING RATES

  • Overnight Parking with electric and/or water: $35/night
  • Horse stalls (one horse per stall): $30/night
  • Paddock areas: $25/night for first horse, $20 for each additional horse in the same paddock (maximum 4 horses per paddock)

Flying B Ranch Policies and Procedures are posted at the barn - a copy is available on request. Horse boarders MUST clean stalls every day and before final departure or they will be charged a cleaning fee ($15/stall/day).  Ranch will provide bedding material at no additional charge, and Ranch will provide buckets and forks for cleaning. All manure must be dumped into the spreader that is parked beneath the north overhang of the horse barn, and all buckets/forks must be returned to their storage location under the overhang.  No cleaning of the paddock areas is required.  GUESTS MUST SIGN THE RANCH LIABILITY RELEASE BEFORE UTILIZING THE FACILITY IN ANY MANNER

POLICIES BARN & RV SPOTS: Vehicles/Trailers MUST NOT be pulled up on the septic tank area behind the guest house. Portable waste tanks may be pulled up by hand to the septic cleanout to be dumped. Horse boarders must clean the stalls daily and just before their departure from the Ranch – the stall MUST be left clean or horse boarders will be charged a cleaning fee. Ranch will supply buckets/forks for cleaning stalls – all manure must be dumped into the spreader parked on the north side of the guest barn. The Ranch will provide bedding for the stalls – ask for additional bedding if necessary. When using the paddock areas, no cleaning is required.

All horses MUST have current Coggins and be in good health/sound condition. As a courtesy, the Ranch will spray each stall with disinfectant before its use by the next horse, although this action does not guarantee that stalls will be antiseptic. A large trash can for general household waste is located under the guest barn north side overhang – DO NOT leave waste/debris anywhere else. There is absolutely no smoking in or around any building on the ranch. Feed and Tack stores are located nearby – ask the Ranch for directions. Dogs and other pets MUST be leashed/under control at all times. Owners MUST clean up after their pets. Report any problems to the Ranch owners at the main (white) house, the large grey barn, or see the contact sheet for telephone numbers.

Owners must produce a current Coggins certificate for each horse at time of check in. Payment in full for your entire stay (cash or a personal check made out to "Flying B Ranch") is due at that time.
